Abstract

Students have idealistic thinking, which means they have a
strong and firm belief in the problems that are being faced,
handled, and which will instill their influence, and students
are figures who are considered as future generations to
continue, or replace leaders from the present. The purpose
of this research is to understand the importance of
tolerance. A qualitative approach method was used in this
study, as well as by using a non-probability sampling
technique. In this study, data were collected through
primary data sources, namely interviews. Researchers
conducted this research by interviewing 13 sources. The
results of the study show that tolerance for differences in
Indonesia is still low according to the perceptions of Esa
Unggul University students
