Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of financial knowledge, risk perception, and demographic factors on investment decisions in the millennial generation who are registered as investors in the Indonesian capital market. The population used is investors registered in the Indonesian capital market. The sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling method with predetermined criteria in order to obtain as many as 85 respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical test analysis, hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis, and different test (mann whitney). The results of this study indicate that financial knowledge has a positive influence on investment decisions, risk perception has a positive influence on investment decisions and income has a positive influence on investment decisions while gender has no influence on investment decisions.
