PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA SEKTOR MAKANAN, MINUMAN DAN FARMASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI PADA TAHUN 2017 – 2021
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the comparative influence of profitability, leverage and company size on company value. Empirical study of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2021. Profitability is measured using Return On Investment (ROI) which uses the formula EBIT (Total Sales and Investment) divided by Investment. Leverage is proxied by Debt To Capital Ratio (DCR) measured using (Total Debt and Total Equity) divided by Total, and Company Size is proxied by Size measured using the natural logarithm of total sales. Meanwhile, company value is proxied by Price To Book Value (PBV) with the formula of share price divided by book value per share. The method used in this research is non-probability sampling or saturated sampling technique. The number of samples used in this research was 19 food and beverage companies and 9 pharmaceutical companies so that the total sample was 28 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2017-2021. The data type is secondary data sourced from financial reports and annual reports. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that simultaneously Profitability, Leverage and Company Size have a significant effect on Company Value. Partially. Profitability and leverage has a significant and positive effect on Company Value in food and beverage sub-sector companies, while company size does not have a significant effect on company value in food and beverage sub-sector companies. Leverage has a significant and positive effect on company value in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies, while profitability and company size does not have a significant effect on company value in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies.
