PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN, NILAI TUKAR, DAN STRUKTUR MODAL TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This study analyzes the price to book value ratio, financial performance, exchange rate, and capital structure of the food and beverage industry traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2021. For business owners and managers, especially those engaged in the food and beverage production sector, this study will highlight aspects that affect company value and offer suggestions on how to increase that value. This study uses a quantitative causal research strategy by taking secondary data obtained from the official IDX website and 15 food and beverage manufacturing companies. In this study, we use t-test and R2 test to test our results. This study monitors food and beverage subsector manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2021 to determine the impact of financial performance, currency exchange rate, and capital structure on the value of these companies. Providing insights into the aspects that determine firm value and as input for company management, this study has the potential to assist in optimizing firm value, especially for manufacturers engaged in the food and beverage subsector. Using excerpts from previous studies, secondary data on 15 food and beverage manufacturers were collected from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website using a quantitative causal research design. Here, we use t-test and R2 test to test two hypotheses.  Both financial performance and capital structure are found to have a positive impact on firm value in this analysis. Meanwhile, firm value is not affected by the exchange rate. These findings indicate that in order to achieve good corporate value and attract investors, it is necessary to make every effort to maximize the variables mentioned above.
